Do you want to work in nursing but don't know how to get started? Then Chance2Care – Entry into Social Professions is just right for you!
As part of this project, you will experience daily life in a care facility or practice. You will learn about your responsibilities as an employee and learn German for working in the care sector. You will also gain initial practical experience during an internship. We will show you your (career) options and provide you with support and guidance. Together, we will develop your perspective and explore: What suits you best? What training or work is possible? What can and should you do next? We will walk this path with you – step by step!

Contents
- Getting to know the tasks and career fields in nursing
- Differences between inpatient and home care
- Know and recognize important diseases
- Teaching basic nursing skills (basic care)
- Expanding language skills in the field of nursing
- Communication and interaction with colleagues, patients and relatives
- Reflection on the experiences and impressions gained
- Internship in a care facility (5 weeks)
You will receive ongoing support from the PBW project team in the form of job coaching and socio-educational support.
