As one of the leading providers of further education in the state of Bremen, we are a vibrant place for people from all over the world. They learn German with us, we train them as specialists in the fields of education and nursing – and together we foster open and respectful exchange. For us, this is the foundation of a functioning society in which everyone has an opportunity.
The Paritätische Bildungswerk Bremen eV (PBW) was founded in 1978 as a politically and religiously independent, non-profit organization. Today, we have approximately 220 permanent employees and offer a diverse range of training, continuing education, and professional development courses at five locations in Bremen and Bremerhaven.
We are committed to equal opportunities and equitable access to education, employment, and the labor market. We inspire people to pursue careers in education, provide them with training, and develop comprehensive professional development opportunities. Furthermore, we support immigrants in settling into life in Germany – from German language courses and career guidance to successful integration into the labor market.
