The Paritätische Bildungswerk Bremen eV (PBW) is a vibrant center for adult education and, with approximately 200 employees, is one of the leading providers of continuing education in the state of Bremen. Since its founding in 1978, the organization has been committed to equal opportunities and equitable access to education, employment, and the labor market. As a recognized institution under the Bremen Continuing Education Act and an approved provider of employment promotion measures, the PBW offers a wide range of qualifications at five locations in Bremen and Bremerhaven.
The focus in the area of basic vocational training and qualification is on:
- German courses for immigrants
- career guidance and integration into the labor market
- Training and further education for pedagogical professions
