This qualification is perfect for you if you are already working as a childminder. It is part of the basic childminding qualification.
Once you have started working as a childminder, the preparatory basic training is followed by on-the-job training. Take advantage of this opportunity to reflect on your work and deepen your skills in a group setting with expert guidance. Ask questions, share experiences, and benefit from ideas and solutions for specific situations and challenges in your daily work.

- if you work at least 15 hours per week as a childminder.
- if you have already participated in a preparatory qualification.
Contents
Topics covered in the lessons include:
- Discussing current issues and practical experiences in child day care
- Work through concrete cases and challenging situations from your daily work and develop solutions together
- Deepen and expand topics of preparatory qualification
- Address new topics that are relevant to you and your work (e.g., Bremen learning and development documentation, prejudice-aware education)
The work-integrated qualification includes self-study units in addition to classroom instruction and concludes with a final colloquium.
