Family meeting with Ukrainian refugees
- Create a positive “welcome atmosphere” for the refugee children and young people.
- Playing music together as an emotional outlet for processing war experiences
- Communication with children and a space for mothers to exchange experiences similar to those of their children
- Musical games as a distraction from "heavy thoughts", coping with grief, saying goodbye to the father, male relatives and friends, from everyday life and surroundings
- Sharing tea with cookies and cake, as well as baking and crafting, as a small substitute for the feeling of family, the feeling of a large community.
- Walks in the animal farm of the "Hans-Wendt-Stiftung" and actively experiencing the animals as an emotional balance and for getting used to a safe environment
- Advice to mothers on the formalities of the migration office, social welfare office/citizen service center/language courses/options for training/employment for refugees from Ukraine.
- Advice on the structure of the Bremen school system
