St. Martini Parish Lesum Playgroup

The playgroup of the St. Martini parish in Bremen-Lesum is located in the community center on Hindenburgstrasse.

On two or three mornings a week, starting at 9 a.m., children from 21 months old until they start kindergarten meet in our lovely playroom with a raised platform. Two trained staff members lovingly care for the children once they have settled down and said goodbye to their parents.

We start each day with a morning circle and then have breakfast together. Play is central to our activities, as play and time for it are essential for our little ones. We also sing, do crafts, and read together.

In addition, we celebrate Advent and Easter together with families, invite everyone to the lantern parade and summer festival, and several times a year we also hold family church services where everyone is welcome.

When the weather is nice, we use our playground under the large trees and enjoy the new children's ship, the swings, and the sandbox. The morning always ends at 11:30 with a closing circle. For older children, and if space is available, there may also be a third day of care; we will discuss this on site.
