Parent-child home as a place to live for mothers and fathers with their children
To Huus is designed for pregnant young girls/women and single young mothers/fathers with infants and toddlers who, due to various problems, are not yet able or willing to live independently and autonomously with their child/children and require 24-hour care.
Especially in the early years, crucial foundations are laid for children's future development and opportunities. With To Huus, we aim to create a program that supports children and their parents during this crucial period and fosters perspectives for their shared growth.
Growth should be encouraged and supported with the aim of creating a supportive environment that minimizes the need for long-term assistance under the German Social Code, Book VIII (SGB VIII). Children should be provided with an environment in which they can grow and develop according to their resources and abilities. Appropriate social participation for children and parents is also a crucial factor for positive progress.

The legal basis for admissions is Sections 19 and 34 (41) of the German Social Code, Book VIII (SGB VIII). In exceptional cases, also in conjunction with Section 35a of the SGB VIII. One place is available for crisis intervention – (according to Section 42 of the SGB VIII).
