The winter playground is an indoor playground for families with children aged 0-3 years during the winter months from October to March. It is a service offered by the "Home for Children" of the St. Matthew's Parish in Bremen.
When it gets colder outside and the weather isn't inviting for outdoor play, we open our doors for you. From October to March, our rooms are transformed into a warm, safe environment three mornings a week, where children aged 0 to 3 and their caregivers are welcome. Here, toddlers will find a space perfectly tailored to their needs, inviting them to move freely and explore to their heart's content.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. (October to March)
Location: Evangelical St. Matthew's Parish, Hermannsburg 32e, 28259 Bremen
What you can expect: Our facilities are designed to offer something for every child – from infants to toddlers. In various themed areas, children can climb, build, crawl, or try out their first role-playing games. While a protected area provides babies with a space for their first sensory experiences, the spacious play area invites older children to test their skills. Everything is designed to awaken natural curiosity and create an atmosphere where children and adults alike feel comfortable.
The winter playground can be explored together with your children. Playing and exploring together strengthens the bond and builds trust. Furthermore, we create a natural setting for first interactions with other children or parents.
Our café offers a cozy retreat for a break from playing. Here you can have time to chat with other adults or enjoy a snack with the children. We provide complimentary coffee, tea, and water. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Admission is free.
