The State Association for Health and Academy for Social Medicine Lower Saxony Bremen e. V. (LVG & AFS) is a non-profit, independent and statewide professional association for health promotion and prevention, headquartered in Hanover with a branch in Bremen.

Its members include institutions from the health, social, and education sectors. The LVG & AFS provides a platform for collaboration in these areas and sets new standards for practice, research, and policy with the aim of contributing to improved health equity for the population.

The LVG & AFS's areas of work include the development and implementation of everyday-life-related projects and programs for health promotion and prevention, the consultation and process support of stakeholders in various settings, the organization and implementation of conferences, training courses and workshops, practice-oriented research and evaluation, as well as the publication of practical aids and specialist publications.
