Health Network Bremen West

The Health Network in Bremen West is an association of approximately 120 employees from institutions and initiatives, as well as residents from Bremen West, organized by LIGA.

We offer our network partners a platform for the exchange of information and experience, for the discussion of social and health policy issues, and for the planning and implementation of health-promoting neighborhood activities.

The aim of the network is a joint and sustainable commitment to improving the health and quality of life of residents and promoting equal opportunities, as well as tolerance and diversity in the neighborhood. Transparency, openness, a solution-oriented approach, and grassroots democratic action are the cornerstones of our communication and our actions.

Furthermore, we actively participate in working groups and project groups of other stakeholders, with the aim of sustainably anchoring health issues in the region.

The Health Network includes:

  • Bremen West Prevention Council
  • Working group on aging in Bremen West
  • Working group for children and young people in Bremen West
  • Working Group Movement / Gröpelingen Sports Mile
