Working Group on Career Prospects for Girls and Women

A network of female labor market experts focusing on women's employment and equal opportunities in the workplace in Bremen (and Bremerhaven). The working group connects existing structures, facilitates professional exchange and training, and initiates collaborations.

For more than 25 years, the working group has been lobbying for girls and women in education and training, both within and outside the labor market, and in the business world. Its central demands are equality, equal participation and equal opportunities for women in the workplace, and a right to secure employment.
 

Meeting location:
Central Office for the Realization of Equal Rights for Women

Meetings are held
8 times per year, usually on the first Friday of the month.

Participation requirements:
Experts from labor market policy theory and practice, such as further education and employment providers, women's counselling centers, mothers' centers and labor market policy actors, such as the officers for equal opportunities.
