Expert advice

The support needs of children in childcare settings have shifted noticeably in recent years. Today, the focus is on the challenges of managing behavioral difficulties across the spectrum of neurodiversity. The diverse mix of professionals working in childcare centers faces significant challenges in providing these children with the necessary, safe environment. Internal specialist advisors are reaching the limits of their resources. This is where we aim to contribute our expertise and offer specialist consultation.

Our consulting settings:

  • as a specialist advisor for a group team
  • case-by-case support in parent-teacher conferences

As part of our professional consultation, we conduct observation visits with staff members and accompany them in their work with children to provide practical, individualized support and advice. We introduce you to various methods and provide materials such as handouts, informational materials, and learning resources. This serves to disseminate knowledge internally and make it accessible to other professionals.

The spectrum of neurodiversity:

We are referring to the wide range of neurological differences, including autism, ADHD, Tourette syndrome, and many more. Instead of viewing these differences as deficits, neurodiversity as an approach emphasizes their strengths and potential, as well as the importance of an inclusive society that respects and supports individual needs and abilities.

A neurodiversity-oriented approach can better prepare educators to understand the needs of different neurological profiles and to develop appropriate support strategies that respond to the diversity of children. This can contribute to the positive development and increased self-confidence of the children in their care, while simultaneously promoting their participation in society.

The specialist advice contributes to improving the quality of educational work in daycare centers, strengthening the resilience of staff, providing support in parental counselling as needed, and thus ensuring the best possible care and development of the children.
