For greater confidence in everyday teaching practice
Far-right attitudes and behaviors are gaining increasing influence among young people – visible in social media, youth centers, and schools. Educational professionals face the challenge of recognizing far-right positions early on, responding appropriately, and building supportive relationships without losing sight of protecting those potentially affected.
This three-day training course provides a space to address these areas of tension and develop confidence in action for pedagogical practice. The course begins with a focus on current manifestations of right-wing extremism, particularly among young people in the state of Bremen, supplemented by the exchange of experiences and reflection. Right-wing extremist codes and symbols, as well as their meaning in their respective contexts, are also examined. The course also addresses the protection and support of those affected. Building on this foundation, participants develop strategies for action in their own pedagogical practice.
The training combines expert input with exchange, case studies, and practical reflection. It is aimed at educational professionals and multipliers in school-based and extracurricular youth and educational work in the state of Bremen.
