reisende werkschule schollen eV is a non-profit organization providing child and youth services in Bremen and the Diepholz district, established for over 45 years. For our Bremen-North Family Workshop location, we are seeking a qualified pedagogical professional (m/f/d) (social worker/educator or comparable qualification) to start as soon as possible, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
A particular focus will be placed on working with separated parental systems, especially within the framework of supervised visitation and parental counseling. Furthermore, the family workshop's scope of work encompasses the full range of outpatient child and youth welfare services offered by our organization.
Your core tasks
- Independent case management, appointment coordination and target group-specific implementation of outpatient services
- Communication with cooperation partners and within the network (depending on the measure, AfSD, authorities, schools, daycare centers, doctors or other institutions)
- Reporting and documentation; continuous reflection on professional actions and helping processes; participation in team meetings, specialist consultation, supervision, as well as conferences and committees
Your profile
- Enjoyment of working with people in a wide variety of life contexts
- Ability to work responsibly
- Skills in systemic family work and/or mediation, or the willingness to obtain qualifications in one of these areas
- Developmental psychology expertise and experience in counseling conflicting parents
- Ability for critical self-reflection and mental hygiene
- Intercultural competence as well as strong communication and cooperation skills
- • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to work in the afternoon and early evening
- Openness, humor, teamwork skills, and good time and self-management
