The new website of the Bremen Family Network has been online since the end of April. The family portal has undergone a comprehensive technical and content-related overhaul and will offer families and professionals significantly improved user-friendliness. The aim is to make information, services, and support more easily, quickly, and accessibly available.
The new website was developed and launched in close collaboration with Department 21, Family Support and Family Policy, within the Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Integration. Among the new features is the specialist portal, which provides targeted information and resources for professionals in family education and the social services system in the city of Bremen. Overall, the content has been structured more clearly and the topic overview optimized so that all users can find relevant services and information more quickly. New features facilitate personal use – including a chatbot, search filters, and accessibility improvements.
With the relaunch, the Bremen Family Network is consistently developing its digital services and responding to the needs of families and professionals in Bremen. Over the past few months, Bremen professionals have been able to participate in workshops, testing, and feedback sessions – helping to ensure that points were considered, questioned, or added. "Since the new website is continuously being developed and expanded, we ask for your understanding and patience, as some functions still need to be adapted or extended," says Anja Lohse, Head of the Specialist Unit. "There are still a few glitches here and there; with such a complex website, a transition rarely goes smoothly."
