The M_KH is a meeting place for everyone who identifies as a girl or woman, grew up as one, or would like to be one. For girls and young women between 7 and 27 years old.
The MKH is a leisure space for girls and young women between 7 and 27 years old: At the open meeting on Thursdays, you can chill, play foosball, be creative, meet up with friends, make new friends, listen to music, play games, surf the internet, use the garden, get support, and realize your own ideas. And we offer many activities for different groups.
We have many large rooms and a garden. So there's plenty of space to spend time together, burn off energy, and do other activities. The MKH is a meeting place for everyone who identifies as a girl/woman, was raised as one, or would like to be one. We consider the distinction between people as either girls or boys to be socially constructed (i.e., made by people) and far too rigid. There are so many more ways to identify one's gender. To make this visible, we use the underscore (_) or the asterisk (*) in our writing.
We believe that girls are and can be so much more than is often portrayed in stereotypes about them. Here at MKH, we want to offer all girls a space to feel and move freely.
