Maternity clinic with Level 2 perinatal center

Level 2 Perinatal Center

Level 2 centers are intended for the care of high-risk births with an expected birth weight of over 1,250 g or a delivery above 29 weeks of gestation.

Mothers with serious pregnancy-related illnesses or insulin-dependent diabetes should also give birth there. Level 2 centers also have high staffing requirements. In the state of Bremen, there is a Level 2 perinatal center at the Bremerhaven-Reinkenheide Hospital and the Bremen-North Hospital.

Our many years of experience, continuously improved services, and top-level medical care will ensure you a safe and successful pregnancy and birth.

Furthermore, a team of doctors from other specialties, especially our pediatricians and anesthesiologists, is always available to assist in the care of our patients. Through the intensive and proven collaboration of these specialists, we are able to offer pregnant women and their children the best possible care and accommodate their wishes as much as possible.
