The Daniel Schnakenberg Foundation promotes recreation for children, young people and families in the state of Bremen
Getting away from home during the holidays, experiencing something wonderful in a different environment, meeting new people and perhaps even making new friends – for many, this is perfectly normal. However, some families don't have enough money to go away on holiday. The Daniel Schnakenberg Foundation therefore supports low-income families in making their holiday trips and vacations a reality.
Applying for subsidies: Family holidays.
Families living in Bremen with a low monthly income can still enjoy a holiday with their children. They can apply for a subsidy for a family holiday.
Apply for subsidies: Children's and youth trips.
Or would you rather get away without your parents? The Daniel Schnakenberg Foundation also supports participation in organized holiday camps for children and young people. This way, even with a low family income, a great time with peers is possible.
Applying for grants: Providers of recreational programs.
Non-profit organizations in Bremen can apply for grants from the Daniel Schnakenberg Foundation for the family, children's, and youth recreational programs they offer. Both lump-sum applications and applications for individual funding are possible.
