Day care center South “Clothes Café”

People with mental illness often find it difficult to structure their day meaningfully. A reliable meeting place like the Süd day center, the "clothes café," offers them support and guidance in this situation.

The café opened in 1983 and is part of the local support network for people with mental health conditions in the neighborhood. In autumn 2017, it moved to new, larger, and, most importantly, accessible premises. Visitors receive advice and support to structure their day and stay active. They can eat and drink here at cost.

In addition to this open area, jobs and employment opportunities with varying requirements, as well as individual support and guidance, are primarily offered in the cafe management and laundry.

In the art workshop's studio, various artistic techniques can be learned and artistic expression further developed under the guidance of an art therapist.
