A space for experiences and activities for self-determined leisure time

Many dedicated residents of Borgfeld campaigned for the creation of a youth center. The young people themselves were involved from the very beginning and actively helped shape their space. The "Freizi" Borgfeld youth center was established in 2006 as part of the Borgfeld West development plan. It offers all children and young people a space for experiences and activities, enabling them to pursue their leisure time independently. The programs are easily accessible and meet children and young people where they are. At the Freizi, acceptance and respect are practiced and fostered as core values.
