Specialist service for official guardianship / official custodianship

The Guardianship/Custodianship Department is a central city service responsible for the entire Bremen area and Bremen-North. This department is the contact point for all matters concerning children and young people under guardianship or custodianship.

Our offers

Our tasks include:

• Exercising all duties as legal guardian for children whose mothers are still minors
• Exercise of parental responsibility (personal and financial care) as appointed official guardian / custodian, if parental responsibility has been wholly or partially withdrawn from the parents or one parent.
