Advice in the refugee initiative
What we want
- We want everyone to be able to live where they want.
Everyone who is here is from here and should be able to stay here. - We want equal rights for everyone. Because all people have the same human rights, regardless of birthplace, residency status, skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, social group, or (non-)disability!
- We oppose redistributions, deportations, and pushbacks at German or European borders.
We do not want collective accommodation of refugees – in any form. - We know that there are no universally safe countries of origin or third countries. We oppose the stereotyping and criminalization of refugees. We fight against racism in its various forms and against all other forms of group-based hostility.
- We stand in solidarity with self-organized alliances of refugees and migrants.
What we do
- We advise and support refugees and migrants – with and without papers.
- We explain individual procedural steps and legal bases when people are subject to the Asylum Act, the Residence Act and/or the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act.
- We provide support with problems, e.g. with the migration office or the social services office.
- We offer advice when deportation is imminent.
- We help with writing letters and filling out applications.
- If needed, we can put you in touch with competent lawyers.
