Midwifery support in the neighborhood
As part of the South Health Center, we will open our facilities in the former children's hospital at the Klinikum Links der Weser hospital. The first courses will start in April 2026, with further care services to follow later in the year.
How to find us:
Walk past the rehabilitation center/cardiology-angiology practice. Turn into the courtyard; you will find the "Heart Center" entrance clearly visible. Enter the Heart Center entrance, take the elevators to the 3rd floor. The South Health Center is located there.
The Bremen-South Midwifery Center is responsible for these districts:
- Huchting (Mittelshuchting, Grolland, Kirchhuchting, Sodenmatt)
- Obervieland (Arsten, Habenhausen, Kattenturm, Kattenesch)
- Woltmershausen (Woltmershausen, Rablinghausen)
As a pregnant woman, new mother, or breastfeeding mother, you are entitled to midwifery care. The costs are covered by statutory health insurance.
We offer medical and psychosocial midwifery care during pregnancy and after birth.

Monday to Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
