Hospice Bridge

The Brücke Hospice in Bremen-Walle, which opened in 2002 as Bremen's first inpatient hospice, offers eight beds for terminally ill individuals. Here, terminally ill people, together with their loved ones, can experience their final journey with dignity and freedom from suffering. To this end, a multidisciplinary team of full-time and volunteer staff work hand in hand. We operate according to the principles of palliative care, which focuses primarily on alleviating suffering and achieving the greatest possible freedom from symptoms.
