The Sirius Hospice in Bremen-Arsten provides care for the seriously ill and their relatives at the end of their lives in a former manor house.
The hospice is a place of peace and security. Up to eight guests live in single rooms with private bathrooms and terraces, and can shape their daily lives independently. Care follows the palliative care principle and is open to people of all backgrounds, religions, worldviews, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Admission is at the patient's own request and requires a doctor's certificate of medical necessity. The hospice handles the cost coverage with health and long-term care insurance providers.

- Volunteer support: conversations, walks, reading aloud, and time for each other.

Admission is at the patient's own request. Relatives can initiate the admission process together with the patient by asking the social services department of the treating hospital or the family doctor's office to send a medical certificate of necessity to the hospice.
