The children's home is located in Bremen-Osterholz and is close to the Bremen-East hospital.
In addition to local families, employees of the KBO can also use places in the Kinderhaus Arche, provided they live in Bremen.
Our guiding principles are based on the Red Cross principles for educational work in the German Red Cross (DRK) daycare centers.
The Arche children's center offers a total of 102 places for children from 18 months old until they start school. There are two regular groups and four mixed-age groups.
Living together with children of different ages allows for diverse social experiences and supports the integration of children with varying developmental needs. The mixed-age environment gives children more scope for individual development and significantly reduces competition.
