A meeting place for older people and the young at heart
The association “Lange Aktiv Bleiben” eV (LAB) has made it its mission to provide a meeting place with various offers for advice, communication, education, socializing and activities for people in the post-professional phase, regardless of origin, race, religion and political attitude.
The LAB community center
, as an open-access senior services facility, offers activities, communication, and social opportunities for people in their post-retirement years. The diverse group programs and events help to ease the transition out of working life and enable an active and positive lifestyle in old age.
Promoting voluntary engagement is of great importance and takes into account the "experiential knowledge" of older people. Many older people only discover skills in "retirement" that they didn't have time to develop during their working lives.
Talents that only develop in old age are encouraged, fostered, and supported. The overall goal is to counteract isolation and exclusion in old age and to maintain participation in social and community life for as long as possible.
Trial lessons for group offers are always free.
Events and group activities can be used both as a club member and as a guest.
Registration is required for group offers and events.
