The Bremen Lawyers' Association is an association of lawyers admitted to practice by the Bremen Bar Association.

Legal advice

The Bremen Bar Association offers free legal advice at the district courts in Bremen, Bremen-Blumenthal and Bremerhaven .

The following conditions must to take advantage of this consultation service:

• low income – no assets
  (net income: single person €1,200.00, life partner €600.00, each additional person living in the household without their own income €200.00)
• a residence in the state of Bremen,
• no prior legal advice in the same matter.

Important:

To take advantage of the free consultation, you will need to bring an ID and proof of income.

In Bremen:

Ostertorstraße 25-29, Amtsgerichtsgebäude
(ground floor, entrance directly next to the main entrance)
28195 Bremen.

Legal advice is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

Registrations will be accepted in the order of arrival of those seeking advice at 2:00 pm.

In Bremen-North:

In Bremerhaven:

At the Justice Center, Brookstr. 1,

During the aforementioned times, a volunteer lawyer is available to provide you with free legal advice.
