What is the MoB?
The MoB is a service for young people with special needs for whom full-time residential care, taking into account outpatient options, is absolutely necessary.
MoB as an alternative.
MoB is an alternative to other residential services for the target group of young people and adults aged 16 and over (in exceptional cases from 15 years) with special needs such as strong tendencies towards neglect, refusal to accept rules, criminal behavior, alcohol/drug abuse, mental abnormalities/illnesses, homelessness and school avoidance behavior.
Furthermore, adolescents and young adults with children can be cared for within the framework of the MoB, provided that the child's welfare is guaranteed.
The care.
The support provided by MoB takes place in individual apartments owned by the organization, which are subject to residential care oversight. After completion of the program, the young people can take over the apartments.
Temporary accommodation is available for new admissions and crisis situations. An easily accessible contact point with office space serves as a central hub, offering laundry facilities, computer access, and group activities.
Being available 24/7 allows for a rapid and flexible response to crises. High levels of support can be provided quickly and without bureaucracy when needed.
Due to the fee-based financing, the securing of rent payments and assistance with money management for the young people is guaranteed.
Our goals.
The goal of the MoB program is sustainable, individual, and social stabilization, as well as social integration into the residential environment. The assigned support workers offer young people the opportunity to establish reliable and supportive relationships, thereby expanding their experiences, which have been marked by relationship disruptions (resocialization).
The process of working through the young person's life story is actively supported by the counselors. Perspectives for independent life planning are tailored to the young person's developmental stage and developed collaboratively in small steps. The support provided is based on practical, everyday, and relevant forms of care.
MoB works intensively towards independent living. Through its particularly needs-based and flexible support services, it aims to include young people who cannot be reached through other settings.
