Self-help organization for single parents

We are a self-help organization where those affected help each other. Our motto is: "Help for self-help".

We are active in various areas:

• As an organization, we promote welfare in society – with a focus on single parents and their children.
• As an advocacy group, we influence society and politics to improve the position of single parents and their children.
• As an association, we promote the community of our members and offer social events.

Membership in VAMV Bremen

Membership in the Association of Single Mothers and Fathers, Bremen State Association, offers many advantages. Belonging to a community of like-minded individuals in the same life situation provides support and encouragement.

Participation in many of our events is free or available at reduced rates. Legal advice from our lawyer is also free. Beyond the Bremen club level, involvement is also possible at the national and European levels.

The annual fee for a single-parent family is €48.

A one-time payment of €12 is required for membership. This amount will be credited towards the total annual membership fee.
