The crisis hotline – psychiatric help through conversation

In acute emotional distress, we listen, advise, and provide guidance

Especially at night, tension and stress are often particularly high. During these critical hours, there is often a lack of someone to talk to who listens with professionalism and composure, shows empathy, and works with you, the caller, to find practical and appropriate solutions to the crisis.

Our crisis hotline offers advice, relief, and support to those affected by their situation via telephone. We listen, we ask questions, and together we help you regain clarity of thought.

Who is the crisis hotline intended for?

For all people from Bremen who are in a psychologically difficult situation at night and need support.

Who is speaking on the other end of the phone?

The telephone hotline for the nighttime crisis hotline is staffed by qualified, psychiatrically trained professionals from the Bremen Workshop Community. They are experienced in dealing with people in psychological distress and are familiar with the services and resources that can improve a difficult situation in the long term.

Does the call cost anything?

The service is free to use.

What personal information do I need to provide over the phone?

You don't have to reveal anything about yourself. Neither your address nor your health insurance provider. But we are of course happy to receive any information that helps us.
