Do you want to live abroad for a few months, meet new people and do something meaningful? The Social Peace Service Bremen eV will gladly support you in your preparations.
With a voluntary service placement in another European country (European Solidarity Corps), you can participate in various projects for between three months and one year. You will get to know another country, its language and culture firsthand and gain valuable experience for your future.
Here's what you can expect:
- Assignment in a European country for 3 to 12 months
- 35 hours per week of work on the project
- Free accommodation and meals
- Monthly pocket money
- Language course on site or online
- Public transport ticket
- Health and accident insurance
- Vacation days
- Continued payment of child benefit
- Support during preparation and throughout the stay
Furthermore, voluntary service abroad looks good on a CV and can in many cases be recognized as a practical part of the university entrance qualification.
Who can participate?
You are between 18 and 30 years old, curious about other cultures and willing to commit to a project for a few months.
For the application you will need:
- an English-language CV/Resume
- a letter of motivation in English
- an individual account on the European Youth Portal
