The training to become a job coach is perfect for you if you want to support, advise, and promote people with special needs on their path to the general (inclusive) job market. You will help them establish sustainable employment relationships and achieve their personal career goals more easily. You will advise people with disabilities on their career change aspirations, assess their skills, acquire jobs, and support employees and employers in their collaboration.

- if you want to support and qualify people with special support needs in their career planning and at the workplace, and thus contribute to the inclusion process in companies.
The further training qualifies you for work in transition management in workshops (WfbM) and at other service providers, work at employment agencies and youth welfare institutions, or self-employment as a job coach.
Contents
- Advising the job seeker on their needs, skills and prospects
- Competency assessment and matching of potential fields of activity
- Acquisition of jobs and building/maintaining a good network with employers
- Promoting and positively shaping the work and learning environment for the employee in cooperation with all stakeholders
- Solution-oriented and constructive support in critical phases
The content is taught in 8 modules:
- Module 1: Working as a job coach – definition, role & tasks
- Module 2: Supporting people with special support needs in the general (inclusive) labor market
- Module 3: Shaping Career Orientation Together – Information, Skills, Self-Efficacy
- Module 4: Successfully acquiring employers
- Module 5: Successfully assessing individual needs and competencies
- Module 6: Designing matching and transitions individually and appropriately (Who is a good match for whom?)
- Module 7: Providing professional support to people in the workplace
- Module 8: Promoting Empowerment and Self-Reflection & Final Colloquium
