HIPPY supports parents and empowers children

HIPPY (Home Interaction for Parents and Preschool Youngsters) is a program for parents with children between 4 and 6 years old. It supports mothers who want to give their children a good start in school.

Parents who wish to participate in the HIPPY program receive learning materials that allow them to learn playfully together with their children.

The HIPPY learning games can, among other things, help to improve children's language skills and to playfully discover the fun of learning.

What makes HIPPY special is that parents can provide targeted support for their children in their own homes. They are supported by a HIPPY staff member who provides guidance and visits the family regularly.

Our staff are bilingual and mostly come from the same cultural background as the participating families.

During their home visits, they familiarize the parents with the new learning material and are available to answer questions.

HIPPY makes families happy

HIPPY brings children and parents closer together, because with HIPPY, young and old discover the joy of learning together. They should set aside about 15 minutes a day for this.

In this way, they learn more about their child's development and strengthen their relationship with each other.
