Low-threshold educational opportunities for children and their families

With the opening at Schiffbauer Weg, we aim to enrich the neighborhood with a service that provides low-threshold access to early childhood education and offers support during transitions. Our focus is on empowering children and families and preparing them for attending an educational institution.

Children can playfully discover their resources together with other children, expand their knowledge of the German language, and learn about structures and rituals for daycare and school.

By participating in the programs, families experience themselves as active partners in their children's education. Regular communication with the professionals about their children's progress and any necessary support options helps ensure that the children get a good start in their educational careers.

Families also have the opportunity to make contact with other families in our parents' café.

Our main focus areas:

  • Developing contacts with other children through play
  • Everyday integrated language education and support
  • Movement activities to get to know your own body
  • Experiencing materials with all senses
  • Involving parents as active education partners

Our group structure:

  • For children without daycare places
  • Under 3 groups (6 children)
  • Groups over 3 years old (8 children)
  • Preschool groups (8 children)
  • Open groups (8 children)

2 to 3 times a week, 3 hours each session, either in the morning or afternoon.
Parents participate once a week.
Families interested in learning more about the program can join the open groups without prior registration.

Our opening hours:
Mon – Fri: 09:00 – 16:30
