The Kita-Einstieghaus is a low-threshold educational offer for children and their families in the Gröpelingen district, to prepare children and families for attending daycare and school, and to provide support during transitions.

An important part of our concept is the active participation of parents. Together, we create a trusting environment where children and families feel comfortable and can thrive. All families who would like to learn more about our programs are warmly invited to visit our open groups; prior registration is not required

Tasks and objectives

  • enable low-threshold access to early childhood education institutions
  • Providing support during transitions.
  • Focus: To strengthen children and families and prepare them for attending an educational institution.

What is happening on site?

  • Children can playfully discover their resources together with other children, expand their knowledge of the German language, and learn about structures and rituals for daycare and school.
  • By participating in the programs, families experience themselves as active partners in their children's education. Regular communication with the professionals about their children's progress and any necessary support options helps ensure that the children get a good start in their educational careers.
  • Families also have the opportunity to make contact with other families in our parents' café.
