at the Bremen Youth Employment Agency
The outreach counselling service for young refugees is a voluntary counselling service offered by the Youth Employment Agency and supports young people with refugee experience aged 15 to 25 on their educational path.
Individual consultations focus on the wishes and goals as well as the individual and residency situation of the person seeking advice. If needed, the Youth Employment Agency can provide guidance and support to its partners (Job Center, Employment Agency, ZBB, specialist youth welfare advisors, and outreach counselors) as part of its inter-institutional work.
In addition to the counselling services offered at the Youth Employment Agency Central and North, counselling can also take place in transitional housing facilities, schools or neighborhood services in the sense of outreach work.
Specifically, we offer advice on the following topics:
- School leaving certificate in Germany and recognition of school leaving certificates from countries of origin
- Language course access and course placement search
- EQ/Training
- Financial and professional support during training
