District: Walle
Type of offer: Consulting offer

Life with children is incredibly enriching, but it can also bring significant problems, worries, and burdens. There are training programs and courses for everything else, yet many feel ill-prepared for parenthood.

Furthermore, societal change is so rapid that we are constantly dealing with change in our own lives. Then there are also so many new findings in infant research and child development studies that hardly anything in emotional support and parenting concepts still fits the models of the previous generation, and as parents, we can't always necessarily ask our own parents or even grandparents how "one" does it when it comes to raising children.

If you feel you don't know how to react to your child's behavior, or you don't understand why your child is crying, having tantrums, or can't sleep, or perhaps the kindergarten has also reported that the child is behaving unusually, then come to the parent counseling session and we can look together at what you and your child need.

I would be happy to support you in better understanding your child's behavior, and together we can explore what can help you and your child so that you can better support your child's emotions in the future and create a more relaxed family dynamic. This will ease the burden on the family, and the challenges of raising a child can once again become a source of joy in family life.

I work with "Emotional First Aid" and "Attachment-Oriented Body Psychotherapy" according to Thomas Harms, as well as with "Integrative Baby Therapy" according to Matthew Appleton from Bristol (a therapy focusing on early childhood trauma from pregnancy to the age of four. This approach is used to treat people of all ages with difficult early childhood experiences). In addition, I am a certified GfG Family Companion® and a "Developmentally Supportive Neonatal Companion" (supporting families with premature and sick newborns).
