The PULS Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic at the University of Bremen offers diagnostics, counseling, and therapy for mental health problems. Services are available to adults as well as children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 21. Parents and other important caregivers can also be involved.

Offers for adults

Adults can contact PULS if mental health issues are impacting their daily lives. These include, for example, anxiety, persistent low mood, severe worry, or stress. An initial consultation will discuss the individual's situation and determine what kind of support or psychotherapeutic treatment is appropriate. Depending on the needs, individual or group therapy may be offered.

Offers for children, teenagers and young adults

PULS offers support for young people up to the age of 21 who are experiencing mental health difficulties and illnesses. This includes, in particular, anxiety and depression. After a diagnostic assessment, it is determined together whether and which therapy is suitable. Parents and other caregivers can be advised and involved in the treatment.

As the outpatient clinic of the University of Bremen, PULS combines psychotherapeutic care with research and teaching. Treatment is based on scientifically sound psychotherapeutic methods. Those interested can contact the clinic directly.
