The PULS Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic at the University of Bremen offers support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties and illnesses. This service is aimed at people who suffer from anxiety, depression, severe worry, or stress and who would like professional support.
In an initial consultation, those affected can describe their current situation and symptoms. Following this, it will be determined whether psychotherapeutic treatment at the university outpatient clinic is appropriate and which services are suitable. PULS offers outpatient psychotherapy for adults, including individual and group therapy. Treatment is based on scientifically recognized psychotherapeutic methods and is individually tailored to the specific symptoms and needs of each patient.
Note: The outpatient clinic does not perform autism and ADHD diagnostics!
The University Outpatient Clinic is part of the University of Bremen and combines psychotherapeutic care with research and teaching. Those with statutory health insurance can contact the clinic directly. No referral is required for an initial consultation. Those with private health insurance should check with their insurance company beforehand to see if the costs are covered. Appointments for an initial consultation can be made by telephone.
