SpielLandschaftStadt eV is a recognized provider of youth services in Bremen and is committed to creating and maintaining a child- and family-friendly environment.

The focus is on strengthening the health of children and young people and realizing the rights enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Children and young people are understood as experts in their own everyday lives. Their participation, as well as the participation of parents, is a central component of the work.

The organization's tasks include developing play and activity spaces, conducting participatory processes to improve the physical environment, as well as providing information, public relations, networking, and documentation. SpielLandschaftStadt e.V. develops and implements projects for child-friendly urban development and supports initiatives in creating and designing play spaces. Its services include the "Creating Play Spaces" funding program, professional development events for specialists and parents, the play area information system, play area planning, and the Movement and Nutrition Mobile (bemil).

The aim is to improve play, exercise, and recreational opportunities for children and young people in Bremen and to incorporate their perspectives into planning and development processes. This work is also aimed at professionals from the fields of education, politics, administration, and urban planning.
