Information events and training courses to raise awareness of the concerns of LGBTQ* people and to expand competence in dealing with sexual and gender diversity.
The courses are aimed at professionals, institutions, and groups in the state of Bremen and the surrounding area. When planning training courses, the specific needs and target group of the requesting institution are taken into account. The content of the training modules addresses diverse aspects and life situations of LGBTQ* individuals.

- Queer in the Classroom? – Professional Development for Teachers and Other Professionals
In addition to educational workshops for students, our "Queer Education" project offers professional development for teachers and other professionals working in the school context on romantic, sexual, and gender diversity in Bremen schools. Besides terminology, needs, and the legal framework, the training also addresses how to deal with transphobia, homophobia, and other forms of queerphobia. We strive to keep multiple forms of discrimination and intersectionality in mind. We are also happy to create customized programs for you. - Rainbow families – Families with LGBTQ* parents:
Basic information on starting a family, legal aspects, the living situation of children and parents in rainbow families, suggestions for dealing with rainbow families in a professional context. - Diversity in old age:
Information on the living situation of older LGBTQI* people, social developments and their impact on the biographies of older LGBTQI* people. Suggestions for interacting with LGBTQI* people in old age and those with support needs. - Diversity in care:
Information on the life situation of LGBTQI* people with support and care needs, care-relevant aspects and suggestions for dealing with LGBTQI* people in care.

Materials and media
The advisory center regularly supports institutions and senatorial authorities in the creation of materials, particularly on the topics of sexual and gender diversity. Many of the materials and media are available free of charge at various lending locations.
