Our intensive course is perfect for you if you want to take the external examination to become a state-certified educator and would like support in your preparation. Information about the subsequent professional internship (state recognition year) can be found here.
ATTENTION: Our intensive course to prepare for the external examination to become an educator will be offered in a modified format starting in August 2026, as all examinations related to the external examination must now be taken at the Inge-Katz-School. Requirements for participation
You can participate in the part-time intensive course…
- if you have at least a secondary school leaving certificate (Realschule) or an equivalent school leaving certificate.
- if you have years of professional experience in the educational field.
- if you can demonstrate successful and regular participation in training courses in the socio-educational field.
- if you have English language skills at level B1 or higher and German language skills at level B2.
- if you are medically fit.
- if you submit an extended police clearance certificate.
- if you have a primary residence or a permanent employment contract with a socio-educational focus in the state of Bremen.
