Neurodivergence in youth welfare
Accompany the individual development paths of young people with empathy, recognize resources and actively shape participation.
This practice-oriented seminar focuses on neurodivergence in educational work with children and adolescents and their family systems.
Using various case studies, we will explore specific themes, challenges, perspectives, and potential that we encounter when working with neurodivergent children and adolescents. There will be ample opportunity for personal exchange and working on your own practical examples.

- if you work as an educational professional, newcomer or career changer in child and youth welfare.
Contents:
- Fundamentals, history of the neurodiversity movement, correctly classifying technical terms, ADHD
- Learning about other neurodivergent presentations and suitable educational support in everyday professional life
- Apply learned content to practical case studies, select methods precisely, and support the individuality of the children in a strengths-oriented manner
