The pro familia Landesverband Bremen eV is looking for a manager of the Bremen-North counselling center (m/f/d) with 28 hours per week, starting on 01.4.2027.
Pro Familia, the German Society for Family Planning, Sexual Counseling and Sex Education, Bremen State Association, is a non-profit organization operating three counseling centers and a medical center in the state of Bremen. Pro Familia Bremen addresses all aspects and problems related to sexuality, partnership, family planning, pregnancy, and contraception. Counseling is provided in accordance with the German Pregnancy Conflict Act.
Your responsibilities essentially encompass the following key areas:
- Team leader of a team of 4 people
- Collaboration with the management team and the executive management
- Responsibility for the organization, administration and duty rosters of the Bremen-North counseling center
- Counseling in pregnancy conflict situations
- Consultations during pregnancy and childbirth
- Counseling and support during crises related to pregnancy and childbirth
- Advice on financial benefits related to pregnancy and childbirth
- Cooperation and networking, participation in working groups and public relations
- Initial contact in person and by telephone
- Staff meeting, supervision, intervision, further training
Ideally, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A completed degree in social pedagogy, sex education, midwifery, or a comparable qualification
- Enjoyment of working in a team
- Leadership skills
- Solid consulting experience and consulting training
- Good IT skills (MS Office, databases, website maintenance, digital consulting software)
- Independent and self-reliant work style
- Strong social skills and communication skills
- Identification with the goals of pro familia
