HERE AHEAD – Academy for Higher Education Access Development is a joint office of all public universities in Bremen and Bremerhaven. HERE AHEAD advises refugees who want to study in Bremen and Bremerhaven.

Are you interested in studying in Bremen or Bremerhaven? Then HERE AHEAD offers various options: IN-Touch or a preparatory course.

HERE Studies

HERE Studies is our preparatory course for refugees. This program provides prospective students with recognized refugee status with the necessary language and subject-specific knowledge to begin their studies in our federal state.

IN-Touch

IN-Touch is a program for refugee academics. As guests of universities, they can, regardless of their residency status, reconnect with the academic world through IN-Touch and learn about the specific characteristics of German universities.

:prime

The preparatory program :prime is aimed at people from non-European countries who wish to study in Germany and have received a recommendation for a Studienkolleg (preparatory college). :prime includes language courses, subject-specific preparation, and the development of key skills.

The programs are free for participants.
