BDP Freizi Huchting

The youth center is located on Obervielander Straße in the Huchting district. Since 1970, the "Freizi" has been a meeting place for children and young people aged ten and up. Sports classes, music, open meetings, excursions, and other activities offer girls and boys of different interests and nationalities meaningful leisure activities.

Regular offers:

Monday

• VAJA (5 pm – 8 pm)
  From 5 pm onwards, our colleagues from VAJA e. V. will be in the house and offer regular activities such as pizza baking or graffiti.

Tuesday

• Walk-in consultation (2–3 p.m.)
  Is everything feeling awful? Are you having problems with your friends? Is home life difficult? Are things not going well at school or during your apprenticeship? Are you struggling financially? Do you just want to talk to someone about how you're feeling? Do you need help with forms? Whatever is bothering you or what you need support with, we're here. Just drop by!
  Of course, you can still talk to us during our open drop-in sessions. You can also use our suggestion box.

• Homework time (3 – 4 pm)
  Here you can do your homework in peace.

• Open meeting (4 pm – 8 pm)
  Come alone or with friends and spend the afternoon with us. You can, for example, play table tennis or PS5, challenge us to a game of billiards, or just chill in the garden.

Wednesday

Thursday

• Music Offer:
  Do you want to make music? But you don't have the means to do so? Whether you want to learn an instrument, record songs, or jam together, here's your chance to try it out. Maybe you'll even start a band or release your first rap songs. Interested? Then come join our group program!
  Do you already have a band or crew and are looking for a rehearsal space? Are you a solo musician? Or would you like to organize a concert? Then get in touch!

Friday

• Open meeting (4 pm – 9 pm)

• Cooking at the Open Meeting Place:
  Do you enjoy cooking with others or would you like to try it sometime? From pizza to dessert, there's room for your ideas here. From 4 pm to 8 pm, we cook in a small group upstairs in the building. No registration is required, and different young people can join each week.

• Recording Studio:
  The recording studio is open every Friday. Here you can record and produce your own tracks. Appointments are available by arrangement!

• Beats:
  Here you can experiment with creating beats, for example using a loop station. Whether electronic music or rap, that's up to you.
