Practice for Neurodiversity and Trauma Therapy
Each of us possesses internal and external resources that, ideally, enable us to deal with stress in a creative and solution-oriented way. However, some of us find it more difficult to access these strengths. The reasons for this are manifold: some of us are born with heavy burdens, while others are forced to take on the problems of those around them.
ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and high sensitivity, for example, have the highest genetic predisposition according to current research. Some of us are traumatized by complications during pregnancy and birth, while others are burdened by adverse relationship experiences in childhood or adolescence (whether due to emotionally overwhelmed or dysfunctional parents, or by remaining in rigid structures such as school, work, or friendship circles).
All these experiences shape us and affect our nervous system. A dysregulated nervous system sabotages our relationships through irrational beliefs. Fight, avoidance, submission, or dissociation increasingly take center stage. However, no one should suffer because of their neurodiversity or the effects of trauma, hide their wounds, suppress their feelings, or avoid social interactions.
Trauma therapy can support you with:
- Dejection, sadness, dissatisfaction
- Guilt and diminished self-confidence
- Anxiety and panic attacks
- Exhaustion / Burnout
- Withdrawal from family and friends
- Self-esteem fluctuations and crises
- Communication difficulties in social contacts and relationships
- Critical events (deaths, separations, accidents, illnesses)
Physical complaints without medical evidence
(pain, sleep disorders, dizziness, cardiac arrhythmias) - Compulsions, triggers, or nightmares
- Traumatic experiences (e.g. after an accident, serious illness, sexual and/or domestic violence)
- Toxic relationship experiences and emotional abuse
I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in adulthood, post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma-related disorders caused by a narcissistic parental home.
Furthermore, I want to enable families in conflict to communicate with each other again without conflict. As a family coach trained in the Gordon Model, I offer courses in positive, respectful communication and conflict resolution without losing.
