District: Vegesack

Problems like unaffordable rents, exorbitant heating costs, and underpaid jobs cannot be tackled in isolation. They are part of larger problems, such as the profit-driven housing market, climate policies that benefit coal and gas companies, and capitalist wage labor.

We at SoliA refuse to accept this and will take action together, because that's the only way we can bring about change! Many of us are confronted with rising rents at some point, have problems with the authorities, or know people in similar situations. At our open meetings, everyone should have the opportunity to talk about their conflicts and problems.

We want to exchange ideas on this topic, as we often share similar problems. By joining forces and taking joint action, we can exert more pressure on landlords, employers, and authorities. Furthermore, we want to organize events and connect with other groups.

Are you looking for support in dealing with your landlord, etc., or do you simply want to show solidarity with people in their struggles? Contact us or just drop by and join in!

The Solidarity Center is a state-independent and self-governed space. The Bremen Unemployed Association (BEV) and SoliA – Solidarity in Action are located there.

Bremen Unemployed Association (BEV)

The BEV offers consultations here three days a week regarding work, rent, job centers, and similar matters. SoliA is a self-organized group that aims to organize practical solidarity against the demands of everyday life.
