Universum® Bremen is an interactive museum that makes science accessible to visitors of all ages through over 300 exhibits. Come and explore!

At Universum® Bremen, embark on an extraordinary journey of discovery into the world of science. With over 300 exhibits, you can experience and understand scientific phenomena up close and with all your senses. Our three themed areas – Technology, Humans, and Nature – are waiting to be explored. Have fun!

You can also explore outdoors! Outside, more exciting stations await you, focusing on the topics of water and wind. Have you seen the sky window on our Tower of the Winds? The 27-meter-high tower not only offers a fantastic view over Bremen, but also surprises with other interesting exhibits to try out and discover. Reach for the sky!

Amazing experiments will amaze you during our daily science shows – science with a guaranteed fun factor! Young and old explorers shouldn't miss these shows when visiting Universum®!

What would our world look like without electricity? How do our senses work? What do fireflies and the Northern Lights have in common? Universum® Bremen offers you individual and diverse ways to explore and discover scientific phenomena.

Touching is expressly encouraged!

Our visitors are our focus. Their own experiences and questions form the basis for understanding. Interactive, hands-on exhibits, room-within-a-room installations, and media elements invite visitors to experiment.

All guests as they wish!

The exhibition does not prescribe a fixed order. Rather, visitors determine their own route and time management. All guests follow their own interests and questions. Everyday objects, research prototypes, and expert interviews offer new insights and perspectives.

To help shape our complex world, a fundamental understanding of science and research is essential. We enthusiastically and warmly guide our guests of all ages as they actively explore scientific phenomena. Our programs encourage wonder, understanding, and critical thinking.

Opening hours

Tickets must be purchased in advance from our online shop. Entry must take place within 45 minutes of the booked time (example: entry booked for 11 a.m., entry possible until 11:45 a.m. at the latest).

Prices:

Adults: 18 euros;
Concessions: 12 euros;
Families: 42 euros (valid for parents or grandparents with a maximum of 2 of their own children/grandchildren up to 18 years of age)

Sparkasse Bremen offers free admission for children and teenagers on the first Friday of every month! School classes please register in advance.
