Advanced training in child day care (for working with 3-6 year old children)

Have you completed your basic training in childminding and would like to further your education to work with children aged 3 to 6? Then this advanced training course is just right for you!

Deepen your expertise through exchanges with your colleagues and learn new strategies and solutions for your daily work with children, parents, and your team. As a multilingual childminder, you also have the opportunity to expand your specialist language skills in supplementary specialist language courses.

Requirements for participation

You can participate in the advanced training course for child day care providers…

• if you have already successfully completed the preparatory basic qualification for child day care 0-3 years
• if you want to build your pedagogical expertise for working with 3-6 year olds
• if you would like to work as an additional staff member in a kindergarten with 3-6 year olds
• if you would like to further expand your specialist language skills

Contents

• Developmental tasks and processes of 3- to 6-year-olds (including social-emotional development, language development, transition to school)
• Appropriately support development and educational processes (observing-paying attention-understanding, participation, designing materials and learning environments)
• Communication within the team

At the end of the qualification, you will complete a final procedure.

The degree does not automatically include the right to work with children aged 3-6 in one's own household.
